Looking back at 2016, it’s been a fantastic year for Reading Matters! We’ve had a great impact on the lives of 6805 children, helping them to read well through one to one support, with an average improvement in reading age of 13months in just 10 hours. We were also awarded the highest possible rating as a training provider by Certa UK, the awarding body for our accredited courses, which we were thrilled about.
We are all very much looking forward to 2017, a special year for Reading Matters, as it will be our 20th anniversary! We hope that you will be able to join us at our Charity Ball in Bradford on March 11 to help us celebrate with friends old and new. We are also excited about our ‘Closing the Literacy Gap’conference for education staff and literacy professionals in Bradford on the 29th of June, which promises to be an inspiring and valuable day.
